Weekend of concerts!

This weekend… was out-wait for it-standing!!!

I was attending 3 concerts, one better than other…

I was at Red Hot Chilli Peppers World Tribute! They are best RHCP cover band as said by my friend Gorazd. And I can easily believe him - performance was excellent.  

Also I was at MGMT, It was too much crowded :/ They have some good songs… and thats it…

Saturday I went alone… to concert FESTINE. I had luck, and some random lady gave me free ticket! Horray!

Concert was…. good. Really GOOD.

I dont know what else to say :D Whole weekend was… outstanding! :D

Random….

IV-27. As a clock. First take.

Finally I found time and connected IV-27 (ИВ-27М) to a MAX6934 and that to MSP430!

MAX6934 is simple but effective VFD driver. Simply put - it’s 32 bit shift register with integrated high voltage buffer stage.

Because picture tells more that 1000 words, and because I’m terrible with putting words together…. here are some pictures of this wonderful piece of antique electronics.  And some video also.

When Im done with programming and putting this thing together I will post more information about this.

Cruise control for Toyota Yaris. My way.

A long time ago… I had too much time. And as always I spend it well.

I build cruise control for Toyota Yaris.

First you go into shed, and take some firewood.

Then you go into car, and put firewood on throttle. 

If you want to go faster or slower…. just find another firewood. Its simple and idiot proof.

16 segment VFD display!

These days I am playing with Futaba VFD (16LY-01Z) display. It’s 16 (+3 dot) 16 grid display. Its very sexy! In an extremely g33ky way!
